Version 1 (The cup tipped over and spilled water. I cleaned up the water during filming.)
Version 2
The explanation is taken from Version 2.
I turn on the hot water which heats up faster since it is below 32 degrees outside and the water has been dripping in the kitchen. I get the Dawn Platinum soap and BlenderBottle 2-in-1 Shaker Bottle and Straw Cleaning Brush out of the bathroom closet.
Using both hands crossed, I get the cup and silicone straw from the counter and place it in the sink. I then take the straw out of the cup with my left hand and place it on the counter. After emptying out the cup and filling it up again, I put it on the counter and slide it over. I put the straw in upside down. I pour Dawn Platinum soap into the cup's water and stir the soap into the water.
I fiddle with the Bottle (big) Brush to try to unscrew the straw brush from the handle before using my right elbow to hold down the straw brush's loop.and twisting with my left hand the big brush's handle. I remove the straw brush and stir it in the soapy water. After waiting for the straw to soak for about 3 minutes, I flip the straw over and immerse it. I wait 3 minutes longer before moving it up and down in the water. I flip it over again and repeat the motion and stirring it since that side had dried up.
Starting at 8:45 in the video, I place the bent side of the straw on the counter closest to the camera. I get the straw brush from the cup and insert it into the end of the straw, push all the way into the straw and pull it back out. Next, I dip the straw brush back into the soapy water before cleaning the other side. I rotate the straw 90 degrees and repeat the straw brush process. I continue to do this until I have rotated the straw 360 degrees. On the opposite end of the straw, I repeat the process.
After turning on the water, I pour a little water out and use the running water to create suds. After turning off the water, while holding the cup with both hands, I shake the cup in the sink in a circular motion. I move the big brush up and down in the cup and, then, turn on the water to create more suds. After turning the water off, I position the cup on the drain to re-angle it. I proceed to take out the big brush to clean the outside of the straw. After making a back and forth movement with the brush on the outside of the straw, I rotate the straw and repeat the motion. Midway through, I dip the brush back in the soapy water and continue the process.
Halfway Video is:
After completing one side, I put the brush in the water and flip the straw. Next, I remove the brush and proceed to clean the straw's bent side outside using the same method. During the process, I put the brush back in the cup so I can reposition the straw to my right side to get the bent side to hang over the sink's edge. This makes it easier to clean that side. Then, I continue the process and, afterwards, I place the brush back in the cup, which ends at 17:45 in the video.
I put the straw's long side in the cup to soak a little longer in the soapy water. I flip the straw's position and continue soaking. After placing the straw on the counter, I shake the cup with the big brush in it and empty a little water out so I can carry it over to the bathtub. I place it on the counter so I can rotate the camera 180 degrees.
At 20:00 in the video, I take the brush and, using a mixture of up and down movements and circular motions, I clean the inside of the cup. Afterwards, I put the cup back on the counter and reposition the camera.
I turn on the water to rinse off the straw brush. After turning off the water, I place the cup in the sink and position it on the drain to balance it. I put the straw brush in the big brush's handle and take both brushes out of the cup to place it on the counter. I put the straw on my right side on the counter. After several tries, while holding the straw brush in my left hand, I screw the into the big brush's handle by rolling the handle away from me with my right hand.
I turn on the hot water to fill up and rinse out the cup several times. I then take the Bottle Brush and move it up and down in the water to rinse it off. I place it back on the counter and continue for several more times rinsing out the cup before placing it on the counter, too. After discovering the water is too hot while rinsing off the straw, I place it back on the counter and turn on the cold water. Once the water is hot-cold enough, I continue to rinse the straw off by running water through and over it. Next, I put it back in the cup and turn off the water.
