This keeps bothering me
After doing the soap post, I realized that I do not understand an "adult" "leader’s" "childhood".
As an adult, you can utilize the skills you learned as a child to understand how to overcome your “disability”.
You can want to rekindle / relive your childhood.
However, I do not understand how occupying land or people will give Putin satisfaction at all.
So, if he knew 1/10th of what I understand about the self, he would be like "whatever about the USSR!?" that was then, this is now. "Let them live as they want."
Why should 1 man have so much power to eviscerate the lives who live in a landmass his "country" once "owned" so he can feel better about himself?
Here is why you cannot relive your childhood:
Understand the conditions that allowed the much earlier environment to take place do not exist.
Since technology has "opened" and interconnected most people which causes them to not be fearful. They can just Google everything or document through video events with your phone.
I do not want to relieve everything after I was born in 1976, because the events that have taken place would just have taken place as they did. This is based on the movie, TimeCop 2: Berlin Decision.
Even though I am disabled, I employ the capabilities I absorbed as a kid to recognize how to be independent.
Hello Caroline. I agree with you as well . You cannot relive your past while the world is advancing at such a rapid pace.
Putin has secured his status as a war criminal. A truly damaged human being.
His propaganda machine is one of his bigger tools in the authoritarian playbook. As we all can see how effective this has played with the far right here.
However there have been successes. Cases have been won against gun companies white supremacist groups for their messaging in advertisements and for misinformation , harm and death to protesters.
Just recently Judge Amit Mehta rejected Donald Trumps bid to dismiss 3 consolidated lawsuits by 11 congressional representatives and 2 capitol police officers. The suit alleges Donald Trump , Oath Keepers and Proud Boys violated the KKK act . The language for the most part is notable; that there is evidence of a direct correlation between Donald Trumps speech at the ellipse and telling the protesters to march to the capitol . My question is if this suit finds in favor for indictment of Donald Trump ; can lawyers proceed on the harms , misinformation death to our citizens and the blatant speech by some governors across this country.
Also the many books and shock jocks , podcasts running high ratings and a huge audience. There so much more that can be done to shut this down .
I am happy to see how the people are speaking with their voices in solidarity for what is right .Putting their lives on the line Because it’s really about all our lives . To live free in a democracy.
Well said, Caroline. I don't understand Putin, either. In a way, a malignant narcissist really is like a 3-year-old child. They aren't happy until all the toys are theirs. I'm angry at the world for letting that broken man-child amass so much power over other people.
